The Unhinged Medal-orium grew out of a lifelong love of all things handmade and wonderfully alternative. What began as the Unhinged Emporium in 2020 — a maker's stall at steampunk events — evolved into something even more singular: a workshop dedicated entirely to one-of-a-kind fabric medals.
Every piece is handcrafted by Sharon, using a carefully developed technique that balances quality and creativity. Fabrics are sourced from charity shops, second-hand sales, and specialist suppliers, meaning no two medals are ever quite the same. The accessories, adornments and finishing details are chosen to complement each medal's individual character.
Each medal is packaged with care and dispatched to your door, ready to wear or display. Whether you're dressing for a fair, completing a cosplay, or simply refusing to leave the house without something magnificent pinned to your chest — you're in the right place.
